X3 changes the way creators approach the creative process. By first filming in 360 degrees and later reframing, one video can be edited in endless different ways. You'll always be able to capture your best moments, whether that's catching a big wave or landing a tough trick. Just get up, record and later frame it in the Insta360 app - thanks to the 360 capture you can turn a 4:5 Instagram post into a 9:16 TikTok video in one tap without loss of quality.

The X3's 360 video quality has also been given a boost with the new Active HDR mode, powered by the camera's new 1/2" 48MP sensors. Active HDR uses an innovative algorithm to stabilize action footage, minimize ghosting and reveal details other action cameras miss in over- and under-exposed areas.

The X3's dual-lens design also enables effects like the Invisible Selfie Stick, where the stick is automatically stitched out of shots, creating an impossible third-person view. With the new Me mode, you can now take epic invisible selfie shots at 60 fps without reframing. This mode frames the shots so that the focus is on you, while the selfie stick remains invisible. Never before has invisible selfie shots been possible without first shooting in 360 and reframing later.

The X3 delivers the most megapixels ever in a 360 action cam with 72MP stills for ultra-detailed shots. It also shoots 8K 360 timelapses, perfect for cityscapes and landscapes.

Bullet Time, the Matrix-like slow-motion effect made possible by swinging the camera in a circle overhead, has also received a boost in resolution and frame rates to 4K 120fps and 3K 180fps.

Ready for the action.
During all the action, the X3's six-axis gyroscope and FlowState stabilization keep your video ultra-steady. Where other action cams fail at 45°, 360° Horizon Lock keeps the horizon level even when you rotate the camera fully.
