Laweiju Pork Belly Braised With Preserved Vegetable 450g
Introduction
Pork with salted vegetable is a traditional Han Chinese dish.
It is made with pork, plum vegetables, white onion and ginger.
The meat is usually cooked in a soup pot, then fried with soy sauce and sliced into pieces. The meat is then stir-fried for a few minutes with spring onions, ginger and other seasonings, then simmered in the soup over low heat. When ready to serve, place the meat on a plate and turn it upside down. When the dish is ready, the meat is rotten and fragrant, and tastes slightly sweet in the salt, fatty but not greasy.
The meat with plum vegetables, together with the salt-baked chicken and stuffed tofu, are known as the three treasures of the Hakka family.
