How to eat

Arctic prawns are cooked and flash frozen directly from the fishing boat after they have been caught in the deep sea, so that they retain their fresh taste and maximise their nutritional content. The Arctic prawns we buy are already cooked, thawed and washed with water, and ready to eat.

Some people even like to eat them with a little bit of ice, like a melon seed, for a fresh and sweet taste.

Arctic prawns can be thawed naturally at room temperature or in the fridge. Do not soak them in water, especially hot water, as this will reduce their texture and flavour.

If making a soup or as an ingredient in a pasta or stir-fry dish, Arctic prawns should be added just before serving, as this will preserve the moisture and freshness of the internal Arctic prawn flavour.
